The Deutsche Gesellschaft e. V. is offering an educational bike tour along the Nemunas/Memel River in 2024.
They are looking for:
# Young people that are interested in the culture and history of the Memel-/Nemunas-Region and want to explore this region together by bike.
# Age: 18-45 (Young people between 18 and 35 years as well as multipliers from the teaching field up to 45 years).
What they offer:
# From Kaunas to Klaipeda in 7 days by bike.
# Extensive cultural program and looking for historic traces in the region Nemunas/Memel
# The participants give short presentations.
# The working language of the travel is English.
# A transport for luggage and breakdowns.
Participation fees: 125 euros for students; 195 euros for multipliers of civic education. (for lithuanian students: 105 euros) # The participation fee includes: accomodation, full board, bike rental and entrance fees.
What do the participants offer?
# Active participation in the program, among other things a little presentation on one of the suggested or self-developed topics.
# Ability to cope with medium to difficult daily routes up to 85 km at a normal pace.
# The working language is English.
