Lithuanian Assciation of Teachers of German

The Lithuanian German Teachers' Association unites 120 German language teachers and lecturers in Lithuania. The association was founded in 1992. The Association is a member of the World Association of Teachers and Lecturers
in German (Internationaler Deutschlehrerinnen- und Deutschlehrerverband). The Association organises teacher training, the Baltic German Teachers' and Lecturers' Conference, the Baltic German Olympiad, annual conferences, seminars and training courses, publishes the methodological publication "Miteinander" and cooperates with the German-Baltic Future Foundation.
